|Saturday night cocktails|
Lastnight, we had planned for Roisin and the Dr to come over and spend the evening with us watching DVDs and generally vegging out and having a nice time. They met me from work, and hubby collected us all in town. Roisin had bought me some lovely gifts of jewellery, which is always well received by me.

I even managed to get my Mum up for a short time, which given she's been so unwell of late was something of an achievement. First up we watched Marie Antoinette, which was a total shoe and costume fest and which we pretty much rattled most of the way through. Roisin was crocheting the most beautiful blanket throughout, whilst I was knitting hubby's crooked scarf. I love it when people are like me, and can't simply watch a film whilst doing nothing else, it makes me feel a little less irritating to those around me.
Once I'd taken mum home we put on the Spanish film, Attack of the Werewolves. This is such a funny film, hubby and I have seen it before, but our guests really enjoyed it, as well as some cocktails and being mugged by the dogs for any buffet that still remained. The film, for some reason, reminded me of an animation that I had recorded on video when I was about 12 years old, and which I used to watch all the time. Of course when video changed over to DVD I lost it, but when I checked up on Youtube lastnight I was able to find it again. It kinda freaked Roisin out a bit, but I still love it.

Now, I'm off to catch up on some blog posts. Check back tomorrow for a bookish giveaway, and in the meantime I'll leave you all with that fabulous Tim Hope Wolfman animation. Enjoy.
