Ta-dah Tuesday: Christmas Gift Tags

Well, it's the first Ta-Dah Tuesday of the year, hosted by the lovely Lakota, and I'm pretty impressed that I've actually made it. A sure sign that I'm sticking to my plan of doing stuff this year, yes?

While you were all clearing away your Christmas decorations and forgetting about it for another year, I was getting my craft on.

Talk about prepared, I took my cards down and immediately chopped them up to make some gift tags for next Christmas... that's right folks a whole 12 months away.

You can guarantee that come December I'll have totally forgotten where I've stored these and will have to use other tags, but whatchagonnado? At least the thought was there. I'm pretty pleased with how they turned out, and they didn't take me long at all to make either.

You are ahead of me, Louise - I have all the cards collected up in a bag ready to do exactly this... But probably won't actually do it till Christmas rolls round again! xxxx

Are you getting ahead with your Xmas shopping too? There are sales on! ;)

Excellent thinking ahead! They look very nice. Now, edit this post and tell yourself where you've put them so you can find them next Christmas!

I have cut cards up, haven't done anything fancy though. Porcelina's World blog has some great other ideas of things to do with them.

You're a girl after my own heart, I've already chopped all mine up too, although mine are not as nice and fancy looking as yours. I tend to just cut out shapes and leave it at that.

Fantastic! I've put all my cards in the decoration boxes for next year. Your tags look really good, mine tend to just be randomly cut. I might have to try this instead
