One night in November
Images of Coventry at night (apologies for quality)
I almost did myself a mischief taking these outfit shots today. I hadn't realised until my slippery soled shoe hit my decking that a fine layer of frost had developed on the deck. Never mind, I escaped unscathed.
I bought this cardy earlier in the month, and despite wearing it loads of times it has escaped photograph. The bracelet is my bargain of the week at 50p from the local charity shop yesterday.
This was my warm outfit for work today, given the weather has taken an epic turn from biblical rain to arctic cold. It worked well into the evening too when hubby whisked me off for an impromptu date night, dinner at Pizza Express followed by a walk around the Cathedral ruins on the cold clear night.
The bells of the ruins were chiming, it was beautiful. It was, at the same time, very eerie because it's a cold, moonlit, clear November night, and it was a cold, moonlit, clear November night when the Luftwaffe razed the stunning medieval cathdral to the ground. Just makes it all a bit more real to my overactive imagination.
Tomorrow is hubby's birthday, and hopefully we'll be having a fun weekend, it's nearly here folks.
