Today was the Christmas light switch on in Coventry. I dug out my Shearling jacket, it's certainly the weather for it again, and I seem to have lost a little bit of weight which means it fits me better than it ever has.

Boots - Debenhams; Tights - Primark; Skirt - eBay (customised); Bag - Jones the Bootmaker Top - Joules; Scarf - Handknitted by a friend; Beret - Oasis (gift) |
Hubby and I got really excited because Roy Wood of Wizard fame was going to be switching the lights on, and performing I wish it could be Christmas.

| I don't think these pink lights are for Christmas. Aren't they beautiful? That's Lady Godiva btw |
Alas, this being Coventry though, they decided they would put him on an hour and a half after all of the shops in town had closed for Sunday trading. An hour and a half hanging around outside in the cold? Bugger that.

Instead we had a day in town shopping, and then really haven't done much at all since. I didn't buy anything, but I have spotted a dress I like.
Here's a bit of wizard to be going along with.

Classy outfit and gorgeous pink lights. Xmas in November? Madness! x
Oh no, not THAT song again, how many times have I heard it since it was released?! Don't think I can count that high! But you look lovely, rocking that shortened suede skirt! xx
Great picture of you looking so cute! I love the pink Godiva on horseback.
You look adorable in that outfit and the pictures of the Christmas lights are SO BEAUTIFUL! Christmas comes earlier and earlier every year now, doesn't it? The stores here were putting up holiday displays before Halloween this year!
It's my third Christmas here and I've never seen the light switch on! Unless you count in my first year when I came back from a fieldtrip and had to battle through the city with my case, much to many people's dismay! The city does look lovely, I think Godiva looks fab! Not sure about the lights around the balconies though! x
So colorful lights!
