That title is going to bring people to my blog for all the wrong reasons isn't it? Ah well. I've had this black leather skirt for some time now, it was a bargain from eBay a few years back, and gets plenty of use.

I fancied funking it up a bit though, so bought some studs and have just added them to the pockets, it updates it a lot I think, I do actually like stuff that's studded anyway, but why buy new when you can just adapt what you have?
I'm pleased with the results, but this was such a fiddly customisation job that I'm not sure I'd do it again. It does look funkier though, and I can't wait to wear it now it's a bit more blinging.

I love square studs, really liking the skirt's new look. And it's always fun to think of the fetishists you might inadvertently be introducing to second hand shopping and crochet - I get some very odd searches leading people to my blog!

I love that skirt. I have a black pencil skirt that I thrifted over a year ago now that I haven't worn because I don't wear pencil skirts. Seeing your fabulous looks convinces me that I need to try it at least once this fall.
Love the studs too!
That is so hot! I really need to try this and Vix also mentioned that a grommet gun is pretty cool too.
What an awesome way to jazz up an old favourite!
It's a great skirt,you'll never get tired of it!XXX
Amazing work! The skirt is beautiful and I'm sure that now is ready to be a completely new inspiration for other beautiful outfits to come!!

It looks great. I love how subtle the studs look on the pockets.
You were wearing that skirt the first time I met you! Love the transformation, it looks brilliant now. x
Excellent.It looks brilliant.xxxx
The skirt looks fabulous on you and is clearly much-loved, worn in so many ways - I see so many people looking awkward in leather, yet you make it look like everyone should be wearing leather skirts:)). The studs are an inspired update! xo
Ow!! Sorry turning into Cat from Red Dwarf. I love those studs, I guessed they'd be a massive headache but the result is hot! Xx
